| Day 1 |
Depart from Helsinki by rental car driving west leaving
the main roads and joining the “Kings Road” a
tourist route winding through small towns and villages. This
road once linked the Kingdom of Sweden with the Russian Empire.
Our goal today is Turku the oldest city in Finland and the
former capital. Overnight accommodation. |
| Day 2 |
On our way to Tampere situated on a narrow isthmus between
two large lakes. Enjoy the lake scenery from the top of the
Näsinneula observation tower or from an optional tour
on a sightseeing boat. Overnight in a lakeside hotel in the
scenic Pyynikki ridge area. |
| Day 3 |
We continue our tour to Vaasa passing green plains and
small rural towns. The Ähtäri Zoo can be visited
with a short detour. Vaasa offers many attractions take a
sightseeing cruise into the archipelago off the city shoreline.

| Day 4 |
Kokkola is our destination today running from island to
island on the scenic route known as the Seven Bridges Road.
Experience the regions tar-making and seafaring traditions
and admire the skillfully constructed wooden houses. Overnight
accommodation. |
| Day 5 |
Driving north our next destination is Oulu passing Kalajoki
and its sandy beaches and Raahe with a well preserved wooden
town area. Oulu is famous for state-of-the-art technology

| Day 6 |
Santa Claus is waiting in Rovaniemi right on the Arctic
Circle and he can be visited in his workshop village every
day of the year. How about a visit to a reindeer farm or
whitewater rafting. Overnight accommodation. |
| Day 7 |
Breakfast then drive to the airport for a flight to Helsinki
after returning the rental car. |
