Following his work with the Swedish American line in the 1950's, Don has been owner and operator of Nelson's since 1965. Itinerary planning and travel advice to Scandinavia come second nature to him, as he has 'seen it all' over the past half-century in the travel industry. Don's parents emigrated from Sweden before he was born, but still speaks Swedish with ease. He has been president of the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce, involved with both the Swedish American Museum and the American Union of Swedish Singers, and has lead tours all over the world.
